Functional training in Ontinyent: three ways to do it at Concept
Fuerza-Funcional small groups, group classes such as Bootcamp or Boot TRX, and the functional box on your own. Which one suits the way you like to train.

Functional training works the movements you use in everyday life —squatting, pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting— instead of isolating one muscle on a machine. At Concept, in Ontinyent, you can do it in three different ways, depending on how much guidance you want and how you like to train.
1. Fuerza-Funcional small groups
These are groups of 4 to 6 people: the balance between a group class and personal training. With so few people, the trainer can keep a closer eye on you, correct your technique better and follow your progress more, without losing the motivation of training in a group.
There are morning and evening slots, and a specific Fuerza +60 group designed for over-60s. Check the small-group timetable.
2. Group classes with functional work
If you love group energy, the group classes are sessions led by a trainer, dynamic and accessible. For functional work you have:
- Bootcamp, Boot HIIT and Boot Core: dynamic group sessions.
- Boot TRX: training with suspension straps, using your own body weight.
- Body Pump and GAP: to tone up and work on strength in a group, with the trainer setting the pace.
And to balance it out, the Wellness class, with yoga and Pilates stretching, focused on mobility.
3. The functional box on your own
If you already know how to train and prefer to organise yourself, you have the fitness room and the open box: strength machines, free weights, Olympic bars, dumbbells and a functional training area, in connected rooms with natural light. It's the option with the most flexibility and freedom.
Which one suits you?
| If you want… | Your option |
|---|---|
| To learn proper technique with a trainer close by | Fuerza-Funcional small group |
| Strength training when you're over 60, with close attention | Fuerza +60 |
| Classes with rhythm and a great atmosphere | Bootcamp, Boot TRX, Body Pump… |
| To organise your own training | Fitness room and open box |
| A plan just for you | Personal training |
